New Products coming to Electra-Zoom – Xiaomi 1S, Xiaomi Pro 2 and Xiaomi Lite Electric Scooters

It’s been a busy year for us here at Electra-Zoom Electric Scooters. We launched in July 2019 and have since grown our brand to be one that people recognise for quality products and exceptional customer service.

So in order to maintain our brand’s values we have been exploring which quality scooters will soon be coming to Electra-Zoom. We will shortly be taking receipt of a fresh batch of the Xiaomi M365 Standard Electric Scooters as they are a favourite amongst our customer base. However, we will also be taking receipt of a couple of new models; the Xiaomi 1S Electric Scooter which will essentially be replacing the standard M365. Also we will have the new Xiaomi Pro 2 which is the slightly upgraded version of the M365 Pro model and the Xiaomi Lite which is a cut down version of the standard M365 which is more affordable to those on a tight budget.

So what are the main differences we are expecting with the Xiaomi 1S and the M365 Standard Electric Scooter?

The frame of the 1S e-scooter itself will remain very much the same as the M365 Standard. It will still be made using the aircraft grade aluminium, meaning that the strength and weight will remain as it was before. However, the 18650 lithium ion battery pack that it uses will be more efficient. This means that it will have a reduced charging time and the lifetime of the batteries will be longer than its predecessor.

Another difference with the new Xiaomi 1S and the standard M365 is the dashboard. The new Xiaomi 1S will resemble the Xiaomi M365 Pro dash in that it will display the speed, battery charge level and mode. A further difference with the Xiaomi 1S and the M365 standard is that the 1S will feature an additional mode. Like the M365 Pro, the 1S will now have a sports mode. So there will be three modes available - eco, normal and sports mode. The 1S electric scooter will also have a 2W LED light at the front instead of the 1W in the original M365 version.

The final differences to mention between the M365 and the 1S are the wires and the brakes. In the standard M365 the wires are red. However, with the new 1S the wires are black and shorter than in the previous model so they are less obtrusive than before. The brakes on the 1S have been upgraded and are the same as the stronger ones found on the original M365 Pro.

So now over to the Xiaomi Pro 2 versus the Xiaomi M365 Pro

The main differences with the Xiaomi Pro 2 Electric Scooter and the M365 Pro are found on the inside.  Again the Pro 2 will utilise the more efficient lithium Ion batteries making them slightly quicker charging and will extent the overall life of the battery.

The other noticeable difference is that the Pro 2 offers a pedestrian speed setting allowing the scooter to travel at just 5 km/h, meaning that it can move consistently at a slower pace making it better when in and around pedestrians.  The Pro 2 electric scooter will also feature the upgraded 2W headlight LED.

So the last new electric scooter we are looking to get our hands on is the Xiaomi Essential Lite. The lite is a more affordable version of the standard Xiaomi M365 but with a few noticeable differences.

The Xiaomi Essential Lite has the same dimensions as the standard M365 but it has a slightly less powerful battery. Although this does mean it only takes 4 hrs to charge it also means that it has less range than the M365. It will cover 20 km where the M365 will do 25 km.

The Essential Lite electric scooter will be furnished with the Pro version of the dashboard and will show speed, battery level and mode which is handy.

The Xiaomi Essential Lite is also slightly lighter than the M365 electric scooter weighing in at just 12kg making it great for commuters.

If you have any questions about any of the new models then please do get in touch with us here at Electra-Zoom and we will more than happy to help.

Happy Scooting.
